Donations

Regular monthly donations, no matter how small, can help us budget more effectively and plan our activities and projects more efficiently.  Once-off cash donations are also sincerely appreciated. All donations are utilized with the utmost integrity.

Please consider signing a debit order for a monthly contribution to HAWS. Forms are available on request.

There are also cash collection tins at the tills of various local stores around Hartbeespoort. Please look out for them.

PRACTICAL WAYS

Our infrastructure is always in need of plumbers, mechanics, fencing experts, electricians, welders etc.  Garden enthusiasts are also always welcome to volunteer their expertise and time.

COMMUNITY

Jumble Sale

Please contact HAWS if you are spring cleaning. We welcome clothes, shoes, furniture, curtains, cutlery, crockery, tools etc. If it’s in your way then we would love to have it for generating funds.

SHOW UP

Volunteer

Please volunteer your time and show our furry friends that they are loved!

Spend time playing with the animals:

You can make a huge difference in the lives of our residents by playing with them, walking them and grooming them while they wait for their new parents to find them.

Spend time tidying up and gardening:

Your help in tidying up our kennel yard would be greatly appreciated. The animals are our priority and the are just not enough hours in the day for our staff to attend to other things around the kennels.

HAWS  would like to thank all our Sponsors, Donors and Volunteers for their continued support, kindness and assistance.

Max & Ann Gmur

Our wonderful animal rescue angels. Our great appreciation to Max, who made it possible for HAWS to own the property in Rietfontein. HAWS had been renting the property previously and this therefore secured the future for our animal shelter and is enabling us to develop the property as and when needed and as funds allow.

ROTARY Club of Brits-Hartbeespoort

Thank you so much for taking HAWS under your wing. We are so grateful for all the support you continue to give and have given in the past to our animal shelter, including the building of the enclosed treatment room for our animal clinic in 2018. Thank you to Rotary and its members for all their assistance in putting together our annual HAWS/ROTARY fundraising golf days.

Kormorant Newspaper

Thank you to Karen and Deon van Huizen for tirelessly supporting HAWS by sharing information about HAWS and advertising our events in this local Harties newspaper.

DREIERS Ifafi Hardware Store

Thank you for always coming to HAWS’ aid when we knock on your door. Over the years Dreiers has always been our go-to for all our hardware needs and we sincerely appreciate their going the extra mile to help HAWS with all their building and maintenance projects.

Pick ‘n Pay, Village Mall, Hartbeespoort

Thank you so much for hosting HAWS collection bins for pet food donations. This assists both the donors and HAWS by making it convenient for donors to leave much needed food for HAWS in the bin after shopping at Pick ‘n Pay.
